Thoughts: The run on wide receivers for my squad continues with Callaway-who has earned a significant role whether or not Michael Thomas (ankle) is back to being himself when he returns. It didn’t happen in this mock, but I’d suspect Waddle will be drafted as the top Miami wideout in most leagues. Thoughts: Waddle was still on the board after considering him in Round 9, so I’ll gladly take another pass-catcher with a massive weekly ceiling. Now it’s just important to hit on whatever tight end I take. Thoughts: The safeness of Corey Davis last round is complemented well by Williams’ pure upside, and overall, this feels like a very balanced roster so far. 5 overall pick to a three-year, $37.5-million deal. Thoughts: Davis has been rising fast because of how much Zach Wilson has targeted him in preseason action, and he clearly has the rookie’s trust. RB4 in a 12-team league is tremendous value. Thoughts: Denver is going to be a run-heavy team with Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback and the defense hoping to be one of the NFL’s top units, so Gordon should see plenty of work no matter what kind of role Javonte Williams has. Thoughts: Hunt is best drafted as a strong FLEX option, and if Nick Chubb ever misses time, his backfield mate would be viewed-despite struggling in the lead role last season-as a borderline RB1/RB2. Success/opportunity on goal-line touches will be key. Thoughts: New England won’t be a one-man show at running back, but Harris should still see more than enough work to return RB2 value as the lead guy. There arguably isn’t a player with more upside. Thoughts: I didn’t really want to triple-up at receiver this early, and Allen was certainly close enough to the best ones available to take over them. The 29-year-old has caught 97+ passes in each of the past four seasons. Thoughts: This pick was a tough one because I didn’t love any of the options on the board, but Allen is another high-floor target for the foundation of the roster. And fortunately for anyone drafting this weekend before the preseason concludes, the rookie won’t play in the team’s final exhibition. Thoughts: I was also considering the next three players picked in Diggs, Kelce, or Gibson, but Harris’ volume gave him the edge with a long wait until I’m back on the clock. We could see a 20-touchdown season for what might be the last run with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. Thoughts: A top running back would have ideally fallen to me, but that didn’t happen, so I instead took the best fantasy wideout in Adams.
